Rising boxing talent, glamorous walkouts and a new digital fan experience made for an action-packed night in Abu Dhabi.
ABU DHABI, 12 October 2026- Kane’s Fright Night returned for its sixth edition on Friday, 9 October, bringing an exciting evening of amateur boxing to the luxurious Bab Al Qasr Hotel in Abu Dhabi. The event attracted an enthusiastic crowd of boxing supporters, including fans who travelled from as far as the United Kingdom to witness the action. Organised by Kane’s Boxing Promotions, Fright Night VI combined competitive amateur boxing with professional-style production, elaborate fighter entrances and a touch of ringside glamour. With a mix of national champions, established crowd favourites and promising young talent, the evening highlighted the growing appetite for amateur boxing in the UAE.
Amateur Boxing with a Professional Touch

From spectacular walkouts to custom-made fight gear, Fright Night VI delivered an atmosphere more commonly associated with professional boxing events. Fighters entered the arena wearing embellished robes created by Dubai-based designers Fight Stitch, adding personality and theatrical flair to their appearances. UAE-born combat sports brand FYYTR Boxing also contributed to the occasion, creating bespoke, personalised boxing gloves for the event. The attention to presentation gave young amateur athletes an opportunity to experience the excitement and spectacle of a professional fight night. As boxing continues to develop across the UAE, events such as Fright Night provide competitors with valuable ring experience while bringing local talent closer to an increasingly enthusiastic audience.
Tarantula Ti’jhaan Delivers Victory and a Message Beyond Boxing
Tijhaan Ajram Goes to 4–0 at Just 14 in the Amateurs 🥊 Post-Fight Interview | NXT FIGHTNXT FIGHTWatch on YouTubeOne of the evening’s standout moments belonged to 14-year-old UAE favourite Ti’jhaan Ajram, known in the ring as *“Tarantula Ti’jhaan.”* Competing in the only female bout of the evening, Ti’jhaan secured a unanimous-decision victory over Razan Alalami. But the teenager had another message to deliver. Wearing pink from head to toe in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Ti’jhaan used her winning speech to encourage women to prioritise early detection. “It's a curable cancer if detected early, so I feel that all women should get tested early,” she told the audience. Early detection can significantly improve breast cancer treatment outcomes, making awareness and timely screening an important message. The young fighter also took the opportunity to address the controversy surrounding Hollywood actress Sydney Sweeney's sports-betting advertisement, which faced criticism from female athletes for its sexualised portrayal of women in sport. Gesturing towards herself and her opponent, Ti’jhaan declared: *“This is what real women in sports look like.”* It was a pointed statement from a young athlete who had just shared the ring with another determined female competitor. Both fighters demonstrated the discipline, courage and commitment that deserve recognition in women's sport. For Ti’jhaan, the evening was not simply about adding another victory to her record. It was an opportunity to use her growing platform to raise awareness and speak up for female athletes.
The Next Generation Makes Its Mark
Some of the evening's most memorable performances came from its youngest competitors. Just eight years old, *Saif “The Kid” Kalla* made an impression with a TKO performance against Ishaaq Badat in their exhibition contest. Meanwhile, 10-year-old *“Prince” Faaris Khan* entertained the crowd with technical ability, ring awareness and composure well beyond his years. Facing Mohammad Rashidi in an exhibition bout, Faaris demonstrated the boxing fundamentals and confidence that have made him one of the exciting young prospects to watch. Both contests offered audiences a glimpse into the next generation of UAE boxing talent.

National Champions Continue Their Winning Form
Kane's crowd favourites and national champions *Spaz and The Wicked* added further victories to their records. Both fighters have developed strong followings within the UAE amateur boxing community, and their performances continued their recent run of success. The Wicked, in particular, has gained experience competing across several prominent UAE boxing platforms, including Kane's events, BATL Promotions and the National Championships. His consistency has raised the possibility of a future transition into the professional ranks, an important step that would require careful consideration of experience, readiness and career development. For now, both fighters remain among the recognisable names contributing to the UAE's competitive amateur boxing scene.

The evening was not only about the action inside the ring. Digital boxing community platform *NXT FIGHT* used Fright Night VI to introduce its latest interactive feature, Fan Predictions. Designed to bring boxing supporters closer to the action, the feature allows fans to predict fight winners live and show support for their favourite athletes. Whether attending an event or following the action remotely, fans can become active participants in the fight-night experience. NXT FIGHT founder and CEO Mudassar Khan said the feature was inspired by the importance of supporters to the boxing community.
“We are proud of the success of NXT FIGHT so far within the boxing community, and this community would be nowhere without its fans. Fan Predictions will allow fans to get behind their boxers and show support, ”
Mudassar khan, ceo & founder of nxt fight
The launch reflects the increasing role of digital engagement in sport, particularly for emerging athletes seeking to build their profiles and connect with audiences beyond the ring. For young boxers, that visibility can be as valuable as the opportunities they receive inside it.
